Are over 74 known types of bedbugs, but very few species influence people's life. Bedbugs are small insects without wings. They have flat body, which makes it easy for them to slip in very narrow cracks. Bedbugs are nocturnal insects, they are not active during the day and usually hide in their shelter - dark crevices, folds of linen, under mattresses, behind pictures, etc. Females emit smell, resembling the smell of oil, which acts as an aphrodisiac for the male species.
Bed bugs attack at night when people are sleeping. They penetrate the skin, releasing the fluid in the wound, which causes inflammation, it gives a tangible flea bites and painful itching. Adults suck blood from 3 to 10 minutes. In optimal conditions for the development of bugs, up to 2 days after drinking the blood females begin to lay eggs in their shelter. The average life expectancy is 14 months.
Treatment:
Measures to combat bedbugs are effective only when carried out systematically in all areas of the dwelling. Hygiene measures are the main method of combating bugs - boiling, steaming, thorough cleaning and washing at high temperatures. Bugs are very sensitive to changes in temperature – and are negatively affected by the very high and very low freezing temperature. The treatments against bedbugs are carried out with insecticide with residual action - dash thoroughly all the furniture in the house, leaving the active preparation at least 24 hours. The effectiveness of the treatment largely depends on the combination of insecticide treatments and hygiene!
